Here's a little bit about me.  I've ended up here - as a children's author - quite organically, not through any grand plan that I set out when I was little.  I've always had a passion for the creative arts.  Growing up, I loved singing, acting, drawing, painting and, in particular, writing poetry and short stories.  (Notice the omission of dancing from the list - trust me, I did the world a favour by avoiding that one!).  Anyway, as time has marched on I've dipped in and out of the creative arts in various ways, but everything I've done has been relatively private, up to now.  I've enjoyed sketching 'pet portraits' for friends and family but other than that I haven't really shared my work with the world. 

But now... here we are!  I've finally taken the plunge and decided it's time to turn my favourite creations into a more concrete reality.  My biggest creative venture yet has come in the form of a series of children’s fantasy fiction books, titled ‘A Fairy Story’, which I can say, from the bottom of my heart, has become the most enjoyable, exciting and fulfilling project I have ever embarked on.  This was something that began in the 'Notes' app of my iPhone, so to be able to put the story on paper, to see the characters come to life before my eyes - that's a feeling I can hardly describe.  I can only hope that these books will bring you and your families the same joy they've brought me.  There's more magic on the way, so if you like what you read then don't forget to check back for more!
